So, it’s Halloween. The Election campaign of our lifetime is just beginning. No witchcraft or magic, no tricks, just people working together for a better future for all in our lovely beautiful country.
Jeremy Corbyn has inspired so many people, many young people whose future depends on a Labour government, and who want to be involved in rebuilding our country. We face a Climate Emergency and a New Green Deal will be at the heart of Labour’s manifesto. More than half a million Labour Party members, and millions of Labour party supporters together will be presenting the policies which will bring about change. It’s our country, and we will ensure it is a great Britain, a happy place to live for us all. We will build it together, for us all.
This General Election is about down-to-earth, bread-and-butter issues facing country blighted by almost a decade of Tory austerity.
Let’s take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rebuild our society like our parents and grandparents did after WW2. Labour will rebuild our society, to mend our divisions.
Here it is .. it’s once in a lifetime.
Corbyn kicks off in the general election campaign, this the match of a lifetime in UK politics.
Labour is on the side of the many against the few who run a corrupt system, Corbyn says.
Shrugging off pundit concerns about a winter election, Corbyn declares, “Labour will be out there in every city, town and village with the biggest and most confident campaign that our country has ever seen bringing a message of hope and change to every community. Even if the rivers freeze over, we’re going out to offer real change for the many not the few.”
Promising that real change is coming, Jeremy Corbyn MP, Leader of the Labour Party, says
“We put our faith in the British people’s spirit and commitment to community. It’s your country.
“That’s why we stand with you. We stand for the many. Boris Johnson’s born-to-rule Conservatives protect the privileged few. They’ve slashed taxes for the richest and vital services and support for everyone else.
“But real change is coming.
“We will end the Conservatives’ great rip-off by putting rail, mail and water into public ownership so they work for everyone, not just Tory donors and shareholders in tax havens.
