The Labour Party has fundamental problems on policy and class identity which are rooted in its mistaken turn to neoliberalism and new Labour. They have been there, they have tried it and it does not and cannot work in the long term because it has been shown to redistribute wealth in favour of the super rich to the disadvantage of all others. That is a recipe for a stagnant economy. The need is to return to traditional Labour values of the redistribution of wealth in the other direction. Only Jeremy Corbyn is offering that and that is why he should be the next Labour leader.
